• Send certificates, trophies and cups to your school

We process your personal data on the basis of contract — specifically, to fulfil the registration you have entered into with us — and our legitimate interest in operating and communicating about our events.

• Cloudflare — our website and database infrastructure (iysfestival.co.uk is hosted on Cloudflare Workers and D1)
• FreeAgent — our accounting software, used to generate and send invoices. Your name, school, and email are shared to create a contact and issue an invoice.

Both providers operate under appropriate data processing agreements and comply with UK GDPR.

6. Data Retention

We retain registration data for a period of 3 years following an event, in order to maintain financial records and resolve any disputes. After this period, personal data is deleted from our systems.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
